Meet the Teacher:
Hello, My name is Donna Boatwright and I am your child's 8th grade math teacher. This is my 6th year teaching and my fifth at Jo Byrns High School. I was an accountant before returning to school to get my degree in education. I am married and have one daughter who also attends JBHS. One thing your child will learn about me is that I truly love math and I believe that math is used everyday. I also believe that all children can learn, maybe not in the same manner or time, but all children can learn and do learn in my room. I will do whatever I can to help your child succeed not only this year but in future math courses.
